Oh, I wish it was still Saturday afternoon and I was on my way to Rotterdam... I had such a brilliant time. The hostel we stayed in was good, we had a Madagascar (the movie, pinguins, yes!) themed room, which is always good. Had lovely food (huge pancakes, bagels, ...), great music and lovely company.
The weather, well, was about every type imaginable, rainy, sunny, windy, it varied so much, but that didn't matter, the music made up for that. I saw the Antlers, the Maccabees, a bit of Friends, and Outfit. Motel Mozaïque is definitely a festival you should go to, you get to know Rotterdam very well. I hadn't heard that many great things about it, but it is an amazing city and worth the trip.
I also went to Primark on Sunday and what an experience that was, not all positive though. I think the store was open five minutes and there were already so many people inside, crazy. People pushing, long lines at the fitting rooms and checkouts, an absolute mess everywhere... It's definitely something you must see and you sure find some decent bargains, but it's not something you do every month.
Hope you get a vibe of what the trip was like and I can't wait to go back.
Note: My friend Sanne took most of the pictures.
